Chasing color and light

Nature’s color and light - that is what I strive to capture in my paintings. For as long as I can remember, I have loved art. Fortunately, when I began my painting journey, I was able to train with several accomplished artists who paint in the “colorist” tradition. As a contemporary impressionist painter, I strive to capture the “effect” of color and light with the paint colors available to me on my palette.

The “art of seeing and painting” - as defined by Henry Hensche - is my continued journey and goal as an artist.
